Both Professional artists, Janet & Patsy reside in St.Marys on the Isles of Scilly where, from their picturesque sudio, produce their renowned “birds eye” and large murals which they have painted together. They are also well known for their series of “cats in windows” – detailed animal paintings combined with the sea – which give their work a unique appeal.

Janet and Patsy fell in love with the natural beauty, bright colours and tranquillity of the Isles of Scilly. Both Professional artists, they moved to St.Marys in 1978 where they now have their own studio where visitors are welcome. They are perhaps better known for their “birds eye” and large murals painted together, and a series of “cats in windows” Detailed animal paintings combined with the sea give their work a unique appeal. They have the distinction of being the only living twins to have exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in the same year.
